Whilst we have a physical presence in major UK towns and cities, we operate as a remote team.
Our offices are located across Yorkshire, specifically in Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and we also serve London, Birmingham, Bristol and Newcastle.
Make Do was established in Barnsley and retains an office at Barnsley Business and Innovation Center (BBIC). The South Yorkshire town of Barnsley is the home of the Make Do agency co-founders Kimb and Matt.
Sheffield is officially our ‘second city’ where we operate and have been running WordPress Sheffield since 2010. In 2014 we ran the popular WordCamp Sheffield conference and and in 2016 started the FrontEndNorth conference which is Sheffield’s only web and digital conference. The tech sector in Sheffield is growing at a fast pace and we’re excited to be part of the Sheffield digital economy.
A growing digital city, Leeds is home to WordPress Leeds which is a regular event for our team. Our office in Leeds is at Matthew Murray House, in the regenerated Holbeck Urban Village. This up and coming digital hub is a short walk from the new south entrance to Leeds City Station.
Outside of Yorkshire most of our team can be found in the Northern powerhouse of Manchester. We’ve run a number of events in Manchester (including the first FrontEndNorth conference back in 2015) and are involved with the WordCamp Manchester event in a speaking, organising and sponsorship capacity
Most of our clients and partners are based in London or Greater London. We’re often in London for client meetings, training and consultancy but also attending regular WordPress meetups and and the yearly WordCamp.
Whether you’re in Shoreditch or the East London tech cluster known as London Tech City or Silicon Roundabout, then we’re here to help.
