CapX is a news publication and news aggregator which selects articles from thousands of news sources on the subject of politics, economics, technology and ideas. The CapX main site didn’t evolve at the same pace as CapX and had a number of limitations.
Make Do were approached by CapX founders and with the design of the website already in place, Make Do concentrated on adding new features improving performance.
Make Do was tasked with improving functionality and making the user experience both enjoyable and seamless.
The Challenge
The requirements for the CapX site were both in depth and highly technical. Make Do had to think innovatively to keep the main site intact whilst making broad alterations to its functions.
It was essential that the interface remained friendly to mobile and tablet users.
Working With An Existing Platform
Make Do concentrated on developing the code of CapX’s already established website design, adding new features to increase functionality. This took several weeks and was closely managed by the Make Do team.
A More Future-proof Outcome
The new website is now much improved while the original design is still intact. User experience has been transformed. The site is engaging and easy to navigate.
