Cartesian is a global leader in the communications, technology, and digital media industry, providing consultancy to some of the world’s most recognised brands. When they approached Make Do, their existing corporate website was no longer meeting expectations – it had become outdated, difficult to update, and was failing to reflect their position as a forward-thinking, high-end consultancy.
The project was a complete redesign and redevelopment of Cartesian’s digital presence. The company had already invested in fresh design concepts and had a very clear vision of how the site should look.
What they needed was a WordPress agency with the technical skill and flexibility to take these supplied designs and turn them into a fully functioning, easy-to-manage platform.
Our approach focused on ensuring every element of the site was content-manageable. From the reusable “blocks” on the homepage through to navigation items and the complex layouts on key landing pages, the site was built to give Cartesian full control of their content without requiring ongoing technical input.
This meant their team could make updates and publish new pages quickly, supporting their consultancy services with up-to-date and professional marketing material.

Working closely with Cartesian’s internal design team, we developed a series of advanced custom landing page templates that could be applied consistently across the site. These were built using a custom WordPress theme and bespoke plugins, ensuring flexibility while maintaining brand consistency.
The templates provided the marketing team with powerful tools to present information in different formats, adapting quickly to campaigns and service changes.
The final result was a polished, modern corporate website that accurately reflects Cartesian’s position as a trusted global consultancy.
