The new Society of British Interior Design (SBID) website allows members to login and manage their profile, add and update a custom business profile, add team members and share information to other members in the SBID network.
We helped build and design the new SBID membership system using WordPress connected to the current back-office platform and extended the site to include new features such as online forums, messaging and self-promotion tools.
Added eCommerce Features
We also added an eCommerce style feature where a member can add all their products to a gallery which can be adjusted and edited.
Though people do not purchase through the site it is an excellent way to showcase their work and help them team up with like minded people in the industry.
Salesforce CRM Integration
Most importantly we set up an integration with the membership system and the SBID Salesforce CRM.
This meant that a user would sign up to SBID Pro, get added to the system which would then integrate with Salesforce to pull the membership in keeping all membership and account details stored in Salesforce as opposed to the membership site.
This was a very complex build but the client was really happy and we managed to build a really successful membership site which allowed interior designers to network and connect.
