TPC Leadership is a fast-growing global firm delivering professional services which help businesses enhance leadership capability. Following internal management changes and a rebrand in 2016, Style Factory Communications appointed the WordPress experts at Make Do to implement a new multilingual, multiterritory website for its client TPC Leadership.
The new website needed to support TPC Leaderships presence in 13 countries and the 20 languages in which it delivers services. It also needed to support future growth and be fully flexible.

TPC Leadership has international consultants across the globe from diverse cultural and managerial backgrounds.
The new website needed to reflect this dynamic make up and effortlessly incorporate several different languages. Leadership style and interpretation can be different worldwide and each country’s site needed to differ in layout and information architecture as well as language.
A Global Challenge
The UK, USA and Australia pages, for example, are written in English but are clearly distinct in tone and culture and have distinct top-level navigation.
The main technical challenge involved developing a flexible and bespoke MultiLingual functionality within the WordPress system. When it became clear that a suitable off-the-shelf multilingual plugin didn’t exist, Make Do set about creating one. The new site is fully flexible and can be reproduced and added to as TPC Leadership continues to expand worldwide.
Site administrators can also add new areas to the new site at the touch of a button and set up a custom language, layout and navigation structure. The site is growing and developing alongside TPC Leadership as it continues its global expansion.
Complex WordPress, Simple Management
Make Do delivered a fully customised WordPress multi-site multilingual system. Over a six month development phase. Make Do developed and launched a new site which has impressive flexibility and a long list of custom functionality.
The home page benefits from WordPress widgets for multiple contact forms to support TPC Leadership’s data collection.
Visitors can also clearly see where TPC Leadership operates from thanks to a Google integrated map. TPC Leadership can easily update the map with coordinates whenever a new office is opened anywhere in the world.
Custom MultiLingual and SEO
A particular challenge involved with creating a website for an organisation operating across many countries and in several languages, is the production of duplicate content – this can have negative implications for SEO. It is necessary to add specific tags to all pages, which can be a cumbersome and time-consuming process.
Make Do overcame this challenge by developing an extremely user-friendly tool for adding these tags to individual pages and posts, saving TPC Leadership’s editors a significant amount of time when populating the site with content.
The site was built from the ground up and this bespoke solution means TPC Leadership has a site that is totally suited to its needs and future growth.
